How to Style a Leopard Print Skirt
I’m not sure what happened, but I woke up one day and suddenly became obsessed with wearing my leopard print skirt again. It’s been almost a decade since I was deep in my leopard print journey and now I’m SO excited to dive back in.
It’s wild how we forget how cyclical fashion is. This leopard print skirt and Gucci belt’s have felt so out of style but now the resurgence is making me laugh because it’s like of course, it’s been 10 years now, of course it’s back.
I’ve gotten rid of most of my clothes over the last 8-10 years but no matter how many times I did a closet purge, I kept hanging onto this leopard print skirt. It feels kind of weird to bring this skirt back because it was way over-saturated at one point. It was like the only skirt you’d see on Instagram for awhile, but it’s been surprisingly easy to feel fresh.
How to Style a Leopard Print Skirt for Summer
Leopard print always leans a little fall/winter for me so the key for summer is a pop of color and keeping things light and bright. I’m in my red era, so of course lately I’ve been leaning into a pop of red in every outfit.
I went with the Reformation Piper Bodysuit for this outfit to happy hour at Barcelona Wine Bar over on 14th. I want to let you know that this bodysuit fits weirdly. The cup sizes are enormous because it is an XS and runs big. If you get it, size it down, but be aware that it might fit a little odd even then. The straps are adjustable but super flimsy, and it doesn’t feel like it holds up well. Reformation is just always hit or miss.

How to Style a Leopard Print Skirt to Transition from Summer to Fall
Now that we’re just about in mid-July, my shopping behavior has shifted to items that will work heading into early Fall. Leopard print feels perfect for this and I honestly can’t believe this skirt is still available on Revolve.
I like the idea of keeping everything about this as summery as possible until late August with the pops of color and tanks. Once transitioning to fall, though, and it’s still warm out, I like the idea of pairing it with a sleeveless knit tank like this one from Enzo Costa on Revolve.
