Staple Abercrombie Date Outfits for Summer
Some of my favorite Abercrombie pieces have become staple date outfits for summer. It goes without question that there needs to be a little black dress in your line up, and Abercrombie nailed it with a linen version for summer, but more on that in a minute.
One of the reasons why Abercrombie has been a reliable go-to for me is because of its size inclusivity. It’s one of the only brands at the moment that fits me like a glove because of the petite or short options.

Summer Museum Date Outfit
I wore this Abercrombie Mara white linen dress on a summer date to the Postal Museum. If you haven’t been to the Postal Museum in DC, I highly recommend. It’s super interactive and one that you can chat through and not worry about being too chatty.
I tried on both the XS Petite and the XXS Petite. The XS was definitely way too big, but I have to say, the XXS Petite is short. Like too short to even think about taking on a walk with the dogs in case I’d have to bend over to pick up dog poop. I honestly wore Spanx shorts underneath this dress because I was just nervous about even having to tie my shoe. I’ve been wanting to try some from Thigh Society that I think would be perfect for this dress.

Summer Dinner Date Outfit
This is the little black dress I mentioned. The sizing difference between this and the white linen dress above is that while I also got an XXS Petite, this wasn’t so short I felt like I needed to wear shorts underneath it.
This dress, while linen, I think will be a staple most of the year. The white slingback heels make it more summery but swapping this with a red or black shoe will be perfect for Spring or Fall. I hope Abercrombie makes this silhouette in a winter fabric because it’s so flattering.
OH, I should also note that I tied an Hermes Twilly in my hair to complete the look.

The easiest way to look put together with minimal effort will always be a monochromatic look. These white linen shorts are such a good summer staple and I believe they fit true to size and are quite flattering.
The shorts are lined so you don’t have to worry about them being see through!
I paired the linen shorts with one of my year-round favorites, the 525 America sleeveless sweater, which you can see other ways I wore it here.
I also added a pop of color to this outfit with the Celine sunglasses from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and a Sarah Bray Bermuda sun hat with a rid ribbon.

After Work Happy Hour Date Outfit
Not going to lie, this one is a little more hypothetical for me since I work from home. I tried this outfit on though the other day and realized it would make a great outfit to happy hour look, so here it is! This would also make a cute country club brunch look.
The skort is the same as the white one I wear ALL the time, just in another color. I’m so excited that Abercrombie keeps re-inventing this style with different fabrics and colors because it’s so flattering and comfortable. The fact that its a skort is truly what makes it a 10/10 staple for me.

One of the reasons I love the Abercrombie linen skort so much is as I mentioned, is because its a skort that looks like a skirt all the way around. This really comes in handy when I’m taking the dogs on a walk and not having to worry about bending over.
It also makes for a cute picnic look, because again -skort not a skirt! The halter also makes it a casual yet still feminine look.
