BLUE LACE DRESS
I'm going to be honest. I didn't like this dress when I first bought it. I was in South Carolina with my family and I needed a dress for a wedding the following weekend. We had about 15 minutes to kill so my cousins, aunt, my mom and I went into Anthropologie just to look around.
My mom came across this dress and said it was absolutely perfect for the following weekend. I had something specific in mind for what I wanted to wear (off shoulder blouse with a midi skirt) so I was not having it.
So, she convinced me to get it and said that I could always return it if I change my mind in a few days, so I went along with it. Turns out I didn't change my mind. WHY ARE MOMS ALWAYS RIGHT?!
After wearing the dress, I realized this is such an easy go to for any summer occasion, whether it's a nice dinner or wedding, it's easy to style and is comfortable to wear because I'm not dealing with any weird necklines.
Also - how cute are these suede nude shoes from Sam Edelman? First of all, who doesn't love Sam Edelman? Second of all, as I'm writing this they're on sale for $39. Their price point for the quality of shoe seriously can't be beat. I bought these for my best friend from high school's wedding and I just LOVE them. Caveat - they're pretty tall so if you're going to be standing in them for a while please get some Dr. Scholl's inserts (I like these that are made specifically for high heels). I don't care that I sound like an old lady suggesting that. The comfort is worth getting over the silliness of it.
