Top Instagram Accounts to Follow: Health
I love discovering new accounts on Instagram all the time. No matter what the niche, I feel that I still get inspired for creative new ideas to post on my Instagram account. I want to share with you some of my favorite Instagram accounts that I've come across lately and I hope that they inspire some ideas for you too.
The cool thing about getting inspiration beyond your niche is that it allows you to think outside the box and get those creative juices flowing.
Nutrition Striped is an amazing site that teaches you how to eat healthy and lived a balanced life. McKell Hill is the woman behind Nutrition Striped and she posts the most gorgeous photos on her account. With over 218,000 followers, she definitely knows what she's doing on the Instagram space. I love the consistency of colors (lots of gorgeous greens) and the use of white space in most of her photos.
What I love about The Skinny Confidential's Instagram account is the incorporation of snapshots from every day life. From fashion, to food, to behind the scenes at work, Lauryn includes it all. I also like how she takes advantage of video to give you sneak peaks into her YouTube videos.
The Petite Professional is run by Claire Siegel, a registered dietician and food blogger. Claire shares photos of living a healthy balanced lifestyle. One of my favorite parts of her Instagram feed is how she doesn't only share her recipes, but she also shares what she orders when she eats out.
I've been following Kimberly Snyder for years, and her books have seriously changed the way I eat and take care of myself. While her account is pretty straightforward with snaps of food and yoga, one of the things that I want you to note is how it's ok to change the themes of your posts. Over the past year, Kimberly got pregnant and had a baby and while her posts in the past were focused on healthy greens and yoga, she wasn't afraid to post pregnancy and baby related posts.
The Balanced Blonde is another account that I love in the health and fitness realm. I love how Jordan also takes advantage of videos by sharing quick workouts and yoga moves. She also shares quotes which really encourage engagement because people like to tag their friends in quotes which leads to more exposure.
