Two years ago, when fringe was on the verge of becoming one the biggest trends in fashion, I was not on board. Then I found this fringe skirt and was officially sold on the trend. Fringe is still everywhere, but probably in more subtle ways this spring. I love the detail on the bottom of this dress that I found at Anthro the other day.
I wore the dress to the Kauffman Center in Kansas City with my trusty Banana Republic mules. I love them so much because the chunky heel makes them so comfortable (except for that time I had to sprint across LAX in them. But I mean, they're not running shoes, duh). The mules are sold out, but I found some similar ones here.
I love how this fringe dress is such an easy dress to throw on, but at the same time isn't super boring. Like I always say - comfort comes first. I wore it to an outdoor cocktail party last week with a gray sweater. I can't wait to dress it down for a casual brunch look or dress it up with some heels for a dinner out on the patio!
