3 WAYS TO WEAR A WHITE TEE
As someone who describes her style as comfy and chic, I never feel like I can have too many white tees. Last summer I lived in an Elizabeth & James tee and you would not believe how distraught I was over staining it when the espresso machine exploded on me at work one day. One of the things I love about a white tee is that there are so many ways to wear a white tee. It is a blank canvas that you can style for just about any occasion. When I learned that Fruit of the Loom had updated their basic white undershirt, I was excited to share with you the different ways that you can wear a shirt that you probably already have in your own home (and if you don't, your boyfriend or husband does).
As much as I'd like to be able to tell you that I sleep in super cute pajamas every night, the reality is that I sleep in a t-shirt and shorts. Lately I have been working on trying to convince myself to get rid of all (feels like hundreds) Pi Phi and college shirts. My inner hoarder is struggling with it, but with my white tees I don't have the excuse that I still wear them to sleep.
White tees are also great for working out. I don't like to run or do high intensity workouts in cotton tees (you get too hot too fast), but I find them perfect for restorative yoga, walks, or to throw on over a workout tee if I have to run to the store after a workout.
And finally, who doesn't love a good brunch outfit? Isn't that one of the best parts of brunch?! I paired the tee with my absolute favorite pair of Joe's jeans. I couldn't find the exact pair online, but these are really similar. I love how adding the dimension of the jacket and necklace really brings a white tee and denim look to life and looks more updated.
The tees that I'm wearing in this post are the v-neck and the crew neck styles of the men's undershirt in a size small. I like my tees to fit loose so these were the perfect size.
