[line] As the temperature drops, dressing for the gym or a run can sometimes seem like a hassle. I sometimes struggle on deciding what to wear because I know I'm going to be cold at first, but then get too hot for long sleeves as I get my heart rate up. In the past, I would throw on a bulky high school sweatshirt on (shout out to The Barstow School!) and be on my way. As comfortable as sweatshirts are, they're not ideal to exercise in. This is where I thank the fashion gods for making activewear such a huge trend. Now I don't have to be stuck with a bulky sweatshirt, but have an endless selection of activewear jackets that are comfortable enough to leave on during a workout.
When it comes to shopping for winter workout clothing this year, I look for styles that look fashion forward while still being comfortable when working out. One of my favorite activewear jackets is the Nike Tech Fleece Cape. I love how on point it is with the cape trend this fall. It takes fashionable activewear to the next level. The 180s Ear Warmers are another favorite. Note, they're not your average ear warmers...they have bluetooth connectivity! And one last thing...just because summer is over doesn't mean crop tops can't fit into your winter workout clothing rotation. My tip for you here is that you wear it over a tank for a more layered, less bare look.
